Crunchy:
adj. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons. Crunchy persons tend to be politically strongly left-leaning and may be additionally but not exclusively categorized as vegetarians, vegans, eco-tarians, conservationists, environmentalists, neo-hippies, tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, etc.
Although some automatically think "dirty hippie" when they hear the word "crunchy," those of us that are trying to lessen our impact on Mother Earth take it in stride. Everyone and everything makes a difference in what our world will be tomorrow, positive and negative. You do make a difference, let's ensure it's a positive one!
The point of this blog will be to make a stopping post for the locals on lessing our impact and supporting those who do. I can't wait to see where this goes!
